Welcome to the website of the
2023 NACA Conference
“Collaborating for Clean Air: Confronting Climate Change and Air Quality Together”
We’re excited to announce the 2023 Annual NACA Conference, held jointly with the DFFE’s Air Quality Governance Lekgotla at Premier Hotel Ranch Resort in Polokwane. Our main focus is a face-to-face gathering to embrace the rich dialogues and connections that only in-person events foster. This conference serves as a platform to unite researchers and practitioners to share, learn, and advance in air quality management.
The theme is “Collaborating for Clean Air: Confronting Climate Change and Air Quality Together”, highlighting the crucial role of collective efforts. We’ll kick-start with a joint DFFE and NACA workshop, followed by a technical session and engaging presentations by expert speakers. Over two packed conference days, we’ll delve into 25 to 30 research papers.
NACA prides itself on fostering dialogue between academia, industry, government, and society, creating a holistic and collaborative approach towards air quality and climate change challenges. Our conference is a robust platform where these diverse stakeholders can unite, exchange ideas, and conjure innovative solutions. We recognise that the challenges related to clean air are multifaceted, and they necessitate expertise and insight from all sectors of our society. That’s why our organising committee is meticulously curating a programme that addresses all stakeholders’ unique interests and concerns.
We are grateful to our sponsors for their continuous support and look forward to providing them with a greater return on their investment. Whether you are a researcher, a policy maker, a business leader, or a passionate member of society, the 2023 Annual NACA Conference offers an enriching, relevant, and dynamic space to learn, contribute, and drive change towards a cleaner and healthier environment. We eagerly anticipate your participation in our quest for cleaner, healthier air for all.
